Russian occupants intimidate locals in Georgia`s occupied region Abkhazia

Shootings were heard in high zone villages of Gali district in Georgia`s breakaway region Abkhazia on Saturday night. As reported, drunk Russian occupants were moving across the villages of Saberio, Gvachgverdi, Dikhazurga and Perebrozka by armoured vehicles.

The shootings were intended to intimidate the local population living in teh vicinity of the occupied territory. The occupants accused them of assisting the violators of the so-called boundary.

The aggressors also tried to seize food products from the locals that caused discontent of the population. Abkhaz locals, along with teh Georgian residents expressed their protest as well, that was followed by deployment of an addition group of occupants at the site. (“Rustavi2”)
